She was predeceased by: her parents, Roman Gutierrez and Babs Larrañaga Gutierrez; her husband Joseph Leon Martinez; her siblings, Ray, Dan, Beatrice Robinson and Marcella Maguire; and her in-laws, Billy Ortega, Suede Robison and Mary Judy Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon, Leroy, Leona Montoya, Missy Dueñas and Jennifer Loera; her sons-in-law, Carlos Montoya, Michael Dueñas and Marvin Loera; her grandson Sammie Garcia; her sister Sylvia Ortega; and her siblings-in-law, Jose Leroy Martinez and Beatrice Gutierrez. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, five first cousins, and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
However, the family's preference is monetary donations in her memory to Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church "Building Fund" at 403 Valencia St. Las Vegas, NM 87701.
