She was predeceased by: her parents, Anastacio Apodaca and Conrada Apodaca; her spouse Amador Gonzales; her sisters, Eufemia Delgado, Maria Apodaca, Carolina Perea, Deluvina Espinoza (Beenie) and Gloria Asi; and her goddaughter Elizabeth Crespin.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Torres (Mike Wilson), Vickie Sandoval, Erica Gonzales (Jimmy Chavez), Alex Gonzales and Leroy Gonzales (Pamela Trujillo); her grandchildren, Melissa Gonzales (Ricardo Montano) and Stephen Torres; her great grandchildren, Isaac Yara, Abran Butler, Emilio, Eliseo, Eliana Torres and Amiana Clay; and her brother Richard Salas. She is also survived by other family members and many friends.
A rosary will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (403 Valencia St, Las Vegas, NM 87701). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (1 Gallegos Rd, Las Vegas, NM 87701).
