It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry L. Coca (Las Vegas, New Mexico), who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leandro Coca and Cleofas Duran Coca; his sisters, Rosela Chavez of Bernalillo, Sophie Phillips (Harold) of Raton and Betty Perez of Las Vegas; his nephew Alex Coca; and his stepson Stacey Kass.

He is survived by: his wife Sandy Coca; his children, Lenny Coca (Claudia) of Las Cruces and Marquita Montano (Chris) of Santa Fe; his stepchildren, Sean Kass (Liz) of Rio Rancho and Shannon Vlaminck (Chris) of Herman, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Julio, Cila, Cleo, Liana Coca of Las Cruces, Noah, Sienna Montano of Santa Fe, Kira, Kody Kass of Rio Rancho, Kassidy, Maggie, Amelia and Eliza Vlaminck of Herman, Minnesota; and his nieces and nephews, Sylvia Garduno of Bernalillo, Edith Gallegos (Pat) of Las Vegas, Sharon Chavez of Ocala, Fla, Greg Fresquez (Berta) of Trinidad, Dennis Fresquez (Cassandra) of Las Vegas and Andrew Perez of Albuquerque. He is also survived by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews as well as cousins and friends.
