He is survived by: his wife Mary D Lucero; his sons, George Charles Lucero, Jr. (Rosalinda) of Wichita, Billy Joe DeLaO (Karen) of Snyder, Jaime Olivarez (Samantha), Tony, Angel Juarez, Jesus Charles Lucero (Lisa) and Christopher Roy Lucero of Las Vegas; his grandchildren, Billy Joe DeLaO, Caleb, Antonio Olivarez, Aria, Isabella, Luke, Sean, Jasper, Angel Juarez, Angelica Juarez, Deshawn, Kensey, Devaughn, Leticia Lucero, Layden Lucero, Rosalinda Lucero, Carlos Lucero, Evalina Lucero, Orlando Lucero, Gilbert Lucero and Benino Lucero; his goddaughter Rebecca Armijo; and his brothers, Antonio Reynaldo Lucero (Elvira), Henry Lucero and Manuel Lucero (Donna).
