It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fermin P. Padilla (Las Vegas, New Mexico), who passed away on March 4, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Jose Padilla and Genevieve Romero; his siblings, Clyde Padilla, Michael Padilla, Mary Garcia, Rose Carrillo and Juanita Padilla; and his brother-in-law Tony Apodaca.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Chavez (Dennis) of Rio Rancho, NM, Lupe Mondragon (Art) of Las Vegas, NM, Francine Romero (Mark) of Albuquerque, NM, Bernadine Lemos (Adolph) of Las Vegas, NM, Lanette Romero (Jerry) of Las Vegas, NM, Fermin A. Padilla (Barbara) of La Manga, NM, Anthony R. Gonzales of Albuquerque, NM and Chris Coca (Josephine) of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his siblings, Erna Martinez of Pueblo, CO, Beatrice Apodaca of Pueblo, CO, Dora Sanchez of Ojo Feliz, NM, Barbara Padilla of Albuquerque, NM, Annie Orozco of Pueblo, CO and Mark Sanchez of Pueblo Colorado. He is also survived by grandchildren: 31; numerous: great-grandchildren.
