He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Carlos, Grucella Gallegos, Abel and Frances Bustamante; his uncle Abel Bustamante Jr.; and his aunt Patsy Bustamante.
He is survived by: his parents, Adelio "Dale" Bustamante and Martha Bustamante of Las Vegas; his sons, Antonio Bustamante (Bailey Douglass) and Daniel Bustamante of Las Vegas; his brothers, Adelio, Bustamante Jr. (Phyllis Duran) of Watrous, David Bustamante (Teresa) of Albuquerque, Carlos Bustamante (Dawn) of Albuquerque and Mark Bustamante of Las Vegas; his godson Marko Bustamante; his close friend Amie Baca (Mila); the mother of his children Marla Martinez; his uncles, Albert Bustamante, Phil Bustamante (Vangie) and Arthur Bustamante (Lillian); and his aunt Veronica Bustamante (late Abel). He is also survived by other relatives and the many friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you register to become an organ donor and if you wish, a donation in Dion's name and memory may be made to the New Mexico Donor Services or to the Special Olympics of New Mexico.
