He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecilio R. Gurule and Agustina Olguin; his wife Rita M. Garcia; his daughter Marti Gurule; his stepson Leon Hayes; his stepgranddaughter Mary Karla Kemm; and his siblings, Damacio Sena, Jose Gurule, Felipita Maes, Rosie Padilla, Celina Quintana and Ned Sena.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Connie Kemm (Alfred) and Edward Garcia (Martina); his stepgrandchildren, Alfredo Kemm (Jennifer), Damian Kemm (Georgina), Denette Herrera, Dennis Garcia, Anthony Garcia, Craig Stewart (Nikki), Maurice Marks (Lee Ann) and Isabella Cuny; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Gabriela Kemm, Marisa Kiesecker (Will), Raquel Kemm-Hobbs (Steven), Tristan Kemm (Syranda), Aidan Kemm, Olivia Kemm, Axton Garcia, Zechariah Garcia (Alexis), Miranda Herrera, Josiah Herrera, Valentino Garcia, Santiago Garcia, Brandon Stewart, Michael Stewart, Caiden Stewart, Dominic Stewart, Kaleb Stewart, Oceana Marks, Angelo Cuny, Scott Hayes, Keith Hayes, Joe Hayes, Raychel Hayes, Angalo Hayes, Anna Hayes and Leon III; his great great grandchildren, Killian Hobbs, Persephone Hobbs, Kiyla Garcia and Adonis Garcia; his children, Bryan and Jada; his sister Isabel Gonzales; and his nieces and nephews, Andrea Bonney, Velma Quintana and Juan Rubio.
