She was predeceased by: her parents, Cruz Roybal Sr. and Juanita Moncivaiz Roybal; her sisters, Mary Alice Roybal and Gloria Sena; her nephew Mateo Sena; her brother Cruz Roybal Jr.; and her pet Messiah.
She is survived by: her children, Fernando Roybal (Katherine Esquibel) and Paulette Roybal (John Lucero, family: Therese Hayes); her sisters, Ofelia Martinez (Mary Ortega), Mary Eva Maes, Joan Montoya (Gabriel), Mona, Rico, Gabriella, Maricela, Amor, Bella, Jennifer, Juanita, Veronica and Chris; her sister-in-law Theresa Roybal; her close friend Concha Aragon; her friend Julia Salazar; and also Emilio Roybal. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
