He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolfo Lopez and Rita Gonzales; his wife Josephine Lopez; his children, George Lopez and Sharon Killian; his granddaughter Julie Rodriguez; his siblings, Hilario Lopez, Rosa Madrid, Aneda Madrid and Juanita Lovato; his nephew Angelo Madrid; and his niece Demi Duran.
He is survived by: his children, Albert Lopez of Leyba, NM, Patsy Lucero of Las Vegas, NM, Estevan Lopez (Della) of Las Vegas, NM, Orlando Lopez of Las Vegas, NM, Anthony Lopez of Houston, TX, Lucy Dominguez (Martin) of Albuquerque, NM, James Lopez (Linda) of Las Vegas, NM and Esther Lopez (Edward) of Las Vegas, NM. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, numerous great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
