He is survived by: his sister Lucy Valdez; his wife Adelina "Lina" Torres; his children, Valerie (Ronald Monteverde), Rosemarie Valdez, Joseph (Sonia Valdez), Victor (JoAnn Valdez) and Maria Elena Valdez (Jonelle); his great grandchildren, Dominic and Rebecca Monteverde; his children, Nico, Adelina, Camila, Luca, Trenton, Tristan, Paige, Antonio, Peyton, Zion, Kingston, Princeton, Bishop, Aiden, Madeline, Emma, Zaylee, Natalee, Nolyn, Kaia, Elke and Isaiah; his grandchildren, Andrea Yvette Valdez, Aaron, Joseph Jr. and Joshua; his friend Charlie; his daughter Maxine Ortiz (James Ortiz); his siblings, Virginia Quintana (Wilfred) of Santa Fe, Alex Valdez (Nora) of San Angelo, Texas, Beatrice Baca of Las Vegas, Nevada and Florence "Tony" Valdez of Las Vegas; and also, Richard Torres, Kathy, Miguel of Las Vegas, Trina, Sherie, Daren, Michael and Jonathan Sandoval of Las Vegas, NM..
