He was predeceased by: his parents, Federico Sambrano Chavez of Lordsburg and Patricia Cruz Chavez of Lordsburg; and his sister Emerlinda Foust. He is survived by: his siblings, Freddy Chavez (Millie) of Safford and Mary Ryan (Tom) of Cheyenne, Wyoming.; his spouse Beverly Chavez; his children, Tommy E Chavez (Tracy) of Lordsburg and Patricia Y Chavez (Joe) of Las Cruces; his grandchildren, Aimee, Thomas, Brandon, Joshua and Joseph; and his great grandchildren, Jaycee, Jackson, James and Everleigh.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (206 W Pine St, Deming, NM 88030). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the Mountain View Cemetery (3410 E Pine St, Deming, NM 88030).
