He is survived by: his sons, Edward (Danielle) and Eric (Melissa); his stepsons, Christopher Valdez and Paul Funk (Rochelle); his brothers, Dick and Steve (Judy); and his grandson Nicholas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
