He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacobo Appelzoller Benavidez and Concepcion Hierro Benavidez; his siblings, Saul H. Benavidez, Concepcion (Connie), Provost, Beneranda Reyes (Bennie), Patricio H. Benavidez, Manuel H. Benavidez, Refugio and Rosa B. Holguin; and his son Jacob Benavidez.
He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Benavidez; his daughter Vivian Benavidez; his grandchildren, Anthony, Eren Garcia, Jonathan Jacob Bueno, Milan, Kristian Paul and Michael Benavidez; his son Hobert Paul Benavidez (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Bradley, Jamie and Aaron Benavidez; his daughter Annette Polk (Chris); his grandchildren, Larry, Chris Jr., Isaiah, Nia and Joseph Polk; his sons, Ben Mendoza Jr. (Melissa) and Oscar Mendoza; and his grandson Aaron Mendoza.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the San Jose Catholic Church (353 Josephine St, La Mesa, NM 88044). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the San Jose Cemetery.
