He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul W. Liefeld and Rosella Liefeld; and his friend Jean Eoff. He is survived by: his son Eric Liefeld; his daughter-in-law Trina Witter; his brother John Liefeld; his grandchildren, Rigel and Averey; and his former wives, Martha Liefeld (Carlstrom) and Sue Lashley.
A memorial service will be held later due to the pandemic.
