He was predeceased by: his wife Lynna Gaye Asbury; his parents, Marjorie E. Asbury and Russell P. Asbury; and his brother David Asbury. He is survived by: his son Richard L. Asbury (Jillian Ross); his grandson Ashton K. Asbury; and his brother Russell K. Asbury (Joni Asbury).
