He was predeceased by: his parents, Merced Garcia and Consuelo "Chelo" Munoz. He is survived by: his stepfather Concepcion "Concho" Munoz; his wife Isabel "Chavela" Garcia; his children, Margaret Apodaca (Victor) and Gary Banegas (Annie); and his grandchildren, Victoriano, Waylon Apodaca, Savannah, Alex Banegas and Bryson Winthers.
