It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rafael Nunez Wemiz in Las Cruces, New Mexico, who passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Elba Wemiz; and his children, Julia Wemiz, Maria Elena Mayora, Nohemi Higareda, Miguel Wemiz, Gerardo Wemiz and Daniel Wemiz.
A reception will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the La Paz Grahams Funeral Home (555 W Amador Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88005, USA). A prayer will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
