Though Petra may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Guadalupe Ramos; and her children, Julia Ramirez (Ortiz), Francisco Ortiz, Carlota Ortiz, Jesus Ortiz, Mary Ramos, Arturo "Michael" Ramos, Sergio Ramos and Heriberto "Eddie" Ramos. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Getz Funeral Home. A rosary was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (5140 W Picacho Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88007).
