She was predeceased by: her parents, Cesario Astorga and Oralia Astorga; her son Ismael Escalera; and her granddaughter Faviloa Rodriguez. She is survived by: her close friend William Miller; and her children, Anthony, Desiree, Saundra, Savannah, Nathaniel and Unica. She is also survived by her brothers, sisters and several nieces and nephews.
