She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Martinek of Silver Lake; her parents, Fred Frey and Marie Frey; her sisters, Donna Neuner, Margie Pitman Walton and Betty Mack; her brothers-in-law, John Neuner, William Pitman and James Mack; her nephews, Jeffrey Pitman and Ronald Pitman; and her niece Linda Hock.
She is survived by: her children, Mona Martinek of West Lafayette, IN and Jay Martinek (Verena) of Schwalbach, Germany; her grandchildren, Sean, Samantha and Macy Martinek of Schwalbach, Germany; and her caregivers, Shelley, Elvira, Kayley, Rachael, Olivia, Grace, Mercedes, Emily, Jordan, Tracy, Natalie and Maria. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM and on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Getz Funeral Home (1410 E Bowman Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88001). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Prairie Home Cemetery (5239 NW 35th St, Topeka, KS 66618).
