The memory of Mary Santisteven of Las Cruces, New Mexico, born in Center, Colorado, who passed away on December 11, 2024 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Refugio Torres and Magdalena Trujillo; her husband Juan Santistevan; and her siblings, Manuel, Orlando, Andy, Claude Torres, Elizabeth Martinez and Gloria Chavarin.
She is survived by: her children, Charlene Santistevan, Darlene Taylor (Bob), Chris Santistevan (Loretta), Jack Santistevan (Gloria) and Jason Santistevan (Becky); and her sister Cora Vigil. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Getz Funeral Home (1410 E Bowman Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88001). A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Basilica of San Albino (2280 Calle Principal, Mesilla, NM 88046).
