She was predeceased by: her parents, Valente Medina Sr. and Josephina Hernandez Medina; her husband Max Squire; and her siblings, Lupe, Miguel, Valente Jr., Juan Medina, Isabelle "Chavela" Medina and Alexandra "Alex" Reyes.
She is survived by: her children, Andrew, Amber Jackson (Tyler) of Las Cruces, NM, Tim Squire (Kelsie Boswell) of Las Cruces, NM and Susanna Clutts (Bill); her grandchildren, Bill Jr. Clutts (Beth) of Eddyville, IL and Nikki Gamble (Benny) of Paducah, KY; her brothers, Gilbert (Natalie Melon) and Conrad Medina (Dena); and also, Adam, Ethan, Ruthie Clutts and Tristan Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's society in her honor.
