He is survived by: his wife Maria Guadalupe Filerio Compean; his children, Cynthia Amy Garibay, Roger Garibay-Carpio (Daniel) and Sheila Marina Garibay (Johnny Ray); his grandchildren, Arlynn Priscila Garibay, Angelica Ivette Garibay, Ariana Garibay, Aimee Elizabeth Rosales and Angel Mario Ray Garibay; and his siblings, Alfonso (Lilia), Carlos (Maria Isela), Arturo (Brigitte), Beatriz Favela (Joaquin) and Erika Garibay. He is also survived by his wife, children, and especially his grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Perches-Grahams Funeral Home (555 W Amador Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88005). A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral (1240 S Espina St, Las Cruces, NM 88001).
