Marilynn Atkinson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilynn Atkinson of Las Cruces, New Mexico, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lee Davis Fairly and Orran James Fairly; her husband Hugh Atkinson; and her daughter Susan Marie Atkinson. She is survived by: her daughters, Sally Atkinson and Linda Atkinson Lidh (Richard Lidh); her stepson Robert Valentine (Ruth Valentine); her granddaughters, Susan Lidh Brewer, Jeni Lidh Reta and Rebecca Lidh Richards; her grandchildren-in-law, Shawn Brewer, Juan Reta and Dustin Richards; and her grandson Christopher Valentine. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family requests any memorial donations be sent to Mesilla Valley Hospice in Las Cruces; Sacred Selections Adoption Agency of Murfreesboro, TN; or Casa de Peregrinos Food Bank in Las Cruces, NM.
