She was predeceased by: her husband Nicolas Tahuahua; and her son Jose Javier "Joe" Tahuahua. She is survived by: her brother Arturo Padilla; and her children, Antonio (Blanca), Maria (Miguel) of Socorro Avalos, Sergio (Rosa), Betty Garcia (David), Richard (Laura) and Carlos (Celia). She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
