He was predeceased by: his father John Jacob Van Sweden. He is survived by: his mother Christy Van Sweden (Criswell); his wife Rita Sue Van Sweden; his sons, Jacob John Van Sweden and Zebediah Leighton Van Sweden; and his sister Misty Ritchey. He is also survived by niece, and two nephews.
