With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwendolyn Veile Edington of Las Cruces, New Mexico, born in Tooele, Utah, who passed away on April 17, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gwendolyn Veile may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gwendolyn Veile touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leman Conrad Veile and Afton Rebecca Veile; and her siblings, Lois and Dale. She is survived by: her children, Lynette Smith, Brent Edington (Claudia Edington), Ann Edington Adams (Kevin Ridd) and Claudia Edington. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
