He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Mabel and Gunnar C. Carlson; and his brother Ken. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann; his stepchildren, Torre Bookout (Gwen), Cindy Bookout (Jamie) and Daniel McKinney (Rebecca); his sister-in-law Victoria; and his nieces and nephews, Melissa, Samantha, Christopher and Matthew. He is also survived by 13 grand nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Scottish Rite Temple (195 E Boutz Rd, Las Cruces, NM 88005). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Masonic Cemetery (760 S Compress Rd, Las Cruces, NM 88005).
