She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ted Barber; her children, James Bryan Brassell, Lisa Garcia Brassell and Jason Omar Brassell; her grandchildren, Leslie Baca, Arthur Martin Mendibles, Aurora Sanchez, Anastacia Sanchez and Jeneya Brassell; her great grandchildren, Natalya, Camila and Valerie Rae; her sister Yvonne Delgado; her parents, Lera Huffman Garcia and Martin F. Garcia; her brothers, Elbert and Delbert Garcia; her daughter Valerie Ann; and the father of her children Jim Brassell. She was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews and in-laws.
