The memory of Genevieve Munoz of Las Cruces, New Mexico, who passed away on April 9, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Genevieve may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Munoz (Joe) and Maria R Munoz; and her siblings, Joe Munoz, Jr. and Mary Lou Sanchez. She is survived by: her siblings, Cecilia, Margaret Munoz and Alfred Munoz (Zulema). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.
A prayer will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Health Parish (1178 N Mesquite St, Las Cruces, NM 88001). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
