He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Ontiveros and Josefa Ontiveros; his wife June Ontiveros; his daughter Laurie Yurcic; his grandsons, Jonathon Ontiveros, Desmond and Deshaun Holman; and his siblings, Santiago, Edward, Albert Ontiveros, Alicia Ontiveros, Isabel Benavidez and Minnie Lujan.
He is survived by: his siblings, Rudy Ontiveros (Isabel) and Rosie Barela of Las Cruces, NM.; and his children, Tina Moore (Jim) of Las Cruces, William Ontiveros (Joy) of Cedar Crest, Ricky Ontiveros (Maddie) of Las Cruces, Paul Ontiveros (Margaret) of Las Cruces and Scott Yurcic (late Laurie). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
