He was predeceased by: his parents, Elisandro Hinojosa and Juana Hinojosa; his stepmother Braulia Morales Telles; his son Danny Hinojosa; and his siblings, Elodia Hinojosa, Eva Garcia, Emma Provencio, Mary Esther Gonzales, Alfredo Hinojosa, Guadalupe Hinojosa and David Hinojosa.
He is survived by: his wife Melba Gabaldon; his children, Gloria Hinojosa and Larry Hinojosa (Connie); his grandchildren, Lisa Murphy (Kelly), Teresa Sandoval, Christopher Reyna (Barbara), Danielle Hinojosa and Bridgett Munoz (Sam); his great grandchildren, Michael Davis, Danny Murphy, Noah Tijerina, Jonathan Tijerina, Cody Sandoval, Angelica Reyna, Alyssa Reyna, Johnny Reyna, Crystal Reyna, Brisa Reyna, Jerimiah Hinojosa, Bentley Hinojosa, Sam Munoz and Deztany Munoz; and his great great grandchild Tyler Davis.
