In the vast expanse of eternity, Ernest shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ernest farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest Lopez and Elodia Lopez; his wife Mona Lopez; his sister JoAnn Osowski (Ray); and his children, Desiree Luna (Mark), Ernest Lopez (Cassandra), Stevie Lopez, Alyssa Lopez, Issaiah Padilla (Alejandra) and Noah Lopez. He was also cherished by his 12 grandchildren and 2 nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Getz Funeral Home (1410 E Bowman Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88001). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Las Cruces First Church (5605 Bataan Mem W, Las Cruces, NM 88012).
