It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cruz R Parra (Las Cruces, New Mexico), who passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Santana Rios and Ana Morales Rios; her children, Victor, Mauricio Parra and Maria Inez Parra-Pineda; and her brothers, Pablo and Marcelo Rios.
She is survived by: her close friend Jose Ines Parra; her children, Ramona Parra, Cristina Parra-Zaragoza, Antonio R Parra (Tara Murray-Parra) and Esteban R Parra (Kimberly Wendorf-Parra); her son-in-law John Pineda; her grandchildren, Victor Brown (Courtney Chadwick), Karisa, Liam, Aidan Parra, Arianna Pineda, Alina Fassa, Juan Zaragoza, Luis Jr., Armando, Angel, Michelle, Teresa Arellano, John and Daniel Pineda; her great grandchildren, Natalie, Jordyn, Cameron Brown, Alexys, Isabel Arellano and Tara Chadwick; her siblings, Socorro Silva, Ramona Najera and Antonio Rios (Adela); and her caregivers, Lupe, Marie, Aide, Elva, Nati and Ricarda. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and God-children.
