He is survived by: his wife Soledad Zubiate; his children, Margarita Valdez Lopez, Rocio Zubiate and Carlos "Chato" Zubiate; his grandchildren, Marcos, Mario, Vianey, Dominic, Mathew, Yazlie, Jacob and Carlos; and his children-in-law, Ismael, Jesus and Yesenia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, friends.
