It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlos Rosencrans (Las Cruces, New Mexico), born in Canutillo, Texas, who passed away on June 11, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Rosencrans and Jesusita Rosencrans; his wife Jovita Meraz; his siblings, Estela Rosencrans, Bertha Monsisvais, Esther Rosencrans and Willie Rosencrans, Jr. (Chaco); his brother-in-law Joe C. Chacon; and his nephews, Carlos and Steven Chacon.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Carlos Rosencrans, Jr. (Deborah), Estella Wright (Jeff), Ruben Rosencrans, Rebecca Lawrence (Fred) and George Rosencrans; his grandchildren, Rachel Knight (Seth), Richard Rosencrans, Veronica Hernandez, William Rosencrans, Katy Roybal (Charles), Christopher Wright, David Wright (Danielle), Felicia Arnett (JR), Joshua Rosencrans (Adriana), Gabriel Rosencrans, Freddy Lawrence (Lori), Kristen Lawrence, Justin Lawrence, Analyssa Lucero and Cody Lawrence; his great grandchildren, Lacey, Paisley Knight, Theodore, Maddox, Lunaime, Baer Wright, Sydney, Grayson Arnett, Matthew, Raelene, Taylor, Trevor Lawrence, Remington, Presley Royal and Kaia Rosencrans; his siblings, Alicia R. Chacon and Raul Rosencrans; his brother-in-law Joe Elmer Torres; his grandsons, Tommy, Alfred Rodriguez, Johnny Martinez and Manuel Abeyta; and his caregivers, Emily Perez and Zulemita Mendoza.
