He is survived by: his parents, Kelley Kern and Peter Kern; his son Brayden; his fiancé Emili; his son Jameson Kern; his siblings, Melissa Kern, Richard Puntasecca, Chris Kern, Matthew Kern, Cassie, Maggie Snyder, Steven and Stephany Kern; his aunts and uncles, Amy, Ronnie Hawkins, Jennifer Heller, Denise and Cliff Parisi; and his nieces and nephews, Andrew, Aidan, Sebastian, Richard, Kira and Tidus. He is also survived by 8 cousins.
