He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Edward Strain and Macon Louise Cantrell Strain; and his brother Lonny Strain. He is survived by: his children, John Eric Strain, Andrew Strain, Rebecka Maese (Kevin) and Teresa Strain; his brother Anthony Strain; and his grandchildren, Lucas Strain, Issac Maese, Dominick Maese, Larissa Maese, Derek Maese and Ainsley Gibson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
