It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Nelson of Lake Arthur, New Mexico, who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nelson and Lucille Price Nelson; and his siblings, Harvey Nelson, Harry Nelson, Jerry Nelson, Phyllis Moore, Yvonne Pollard, Alma Lyn McCullough and Peggy Speck.
He is survived by: his son Michael Nelson (Jenny); his grandchildren, Cayla Nelson, Nik Nelson, Landon Nelson and Natalee Nelson; and his daughter Michelle Smith.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Terpening & Son Chapel (611 W Grand Ave, Artesia, NM 88210).
