It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Towler of Lake Arthur, New Mexico, born in Artesia, New Mexico, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Towler and Shirley Towler (Bill Byrd); his grandmother Mae House; his sister Shannon Chavez; and his son Cody Towler.
He is survived by: his spouse Scherrie Fowler; his children, Michael Towler (Kathy), Dusty Towler (Elexis) and Deanne Towler (Danny); his grandchildren, Breckley, Hailey, Noah, Sebastian, Ethan, Jesse, Tatum, Wesley, Jayclynn, Jaixdyx, Jeremiah, Connor and Declan; and his siblings, Vicki (Montey Harper), John Byrd (Jonnie) and Gene Byrd (Sue). He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
