He was predeceased by: his sons, Edwin D. Martinez, Nevin F. Martinez, Curtis G. Martinez, Marvin P. Martinez and Terrance M. Martinez.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Martinez (Cheromiah); his children, Lawrence Martinez (Anna), Lynn Martinez, Karen Tachias (Peter), Angela Zamora and Yvonne Francis; and his sister Gina Jojola. He is also survived by thirty-seven grandchildren; fifty-seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
