He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pepper and Norma Pepper; and his grandson Daniel Jude Pepper. He is survived by: his wife Mira Pepper; his children, Steven Pepper (Becky), Ashley Danielle Coronado (Roy) and Forrest Pepper (Jackie); his stepchildren, Patti Gamboa (Yei), Audrey Menzel (Tyler Ford) and Martin Menzel (Ashley); and his siblings, Diane Harrell (Kevin), Peggy Pepper and Larry Pepper (Norma). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials honoring Steve may be given to Cloudcroft High School Athletics.
