Gordon Shevis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Shevis of La Luz, New Mexico, born in Brattleboro, Vermont, who passed away on June 20, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shevis and Frances Shevis; his siblings, James Shevis, Margaret Butterfield, Jean Hill and Frances Olds; and his grandson Neal Alsup.
He is survived by: his wife Siriya Shevis of La Luz, NM; his children, Jean R. Broderick (Christopher) of Columbus, OH, Janet I. Alsup (Rod) of Delaware, OH and Philip G. Shevis (Carmel) of Chesapeake, VA; and his grandchildren, Isobel, Alison, Meredith Alsup, Thomas, John and Hana Shevis.
