She is survived by: her niece Brandy Thomas; her husband Richard Velarde; her sons, Brian Velarde (Josephine Velarde) and Richard Velarde (Diana Velarde); her grandchildren, Felicia Branch, Samantha Velasquez, Kaitlynn Velarde, Kevin Velarde and Ryan Velarde; her great grandchild Zachariah Toledo; and her siblings, Alfred Valdez, Connie Wilson, Nayda Valdez and Diane Morales (Elmer Morales).
