We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2021, at the age of 72, Anselmo Gutierrez formerly of La Jara, New Mexico, born in Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolfo Gutierrez and Lena Martinez Gutierrez; his siblings, George William Gutierrez (Billy) and Rose Gutierrez Velarde (Rosie); his grandparents, Epifanio Gutierrez, Agapita Aragon Gutierrez and Ramoncita Martinez; and his aunt Angelita Gutierrez Olivas.

He is survived by: his sons, Paul (Ellen) and Peter (Julie); his siblings, Judy Casaus (Ben), Gloria Dominguez (Manny) and Rudy (Annie); and also Emily Kalinauskas. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Covid is unforgiving and deadly and the pain of loss is very, very real.
