Joy Sue Wells Obituary
We bid farewell to Joy Sue Wells of Kirtland, New Mexico, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 23, 2025 at the age of 71. Joy Sue touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Kevin Vess Wells; and her parents, Johnnie Giovengo Sr. and Pearl Francis Elizabeth Oldaker. She is survived by: her children, Erik Wells, Serena (Wells) and Eric Meyer; her grandchildren, Emma, Madyson Meyer, Joseph and Joshua Wells; and her siblings, Jody Hooper and Johnnie Giovengo Jr. (Sharon). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Farmington Funeral Home (2111 W Apache St, Farmington, NM 87401). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
