He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Lovato Sr. and Helen O'Neil; his father-in-law Vicente Otero; and his brothers-in-law, Ted Raff and Alfred Gallegos.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Otero Lovato; his children, Nicole Lovato Flannigan (Vaughn) and Marc Lovato (Nicole); his grandchildren, Marc Jr., Lauren Lovato and Jerron Flannigan; his sister Virgie Gallegos; his niece Audra Gallegos Baca (Anthony); his nephew Noah Baca; his mother-in-law Inez Vigil Otero; his siblings-in-law, Theresa Sanchez (Hector), Helen Raff and Pete Otero (Toni); and his aunts, Sally Lovato and Isabel Lovato. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
