She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Castaneda and Emma Castaneda; and her parents-in-law, Demetrio "Johnny" and Lucila Medina. She is survived by: her husband David Medina; her sons, John (Brenda) and Carlos; her sister Maria Castaneda-Moya (Leo Moya); and her siblings-in-law, Erlinda Chavez (Leroy), Theresa Olguin, Diana Mascarenas, Prescilla Camarena (Santiago) and Pat Medina (Annette). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the family will not host a reception or social gathering after the services.
