He was predeceased by: his parents, Hermenes Gurule and Josephita Gurule; his brother Ruben Gurule; his sisters-in-law, Virginia Armijo and Marilyn Gurule; and his nephews, Andre and Chistian James Gurule.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Gurule; his daughter Lennie; his son-in-law Ed; his son Ruben; his daughter-in-law Roberta; his granddaughters, Arianna and Katarina; his niece Michelle Armijo (James); and his brother Joe Gurule. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church (101 N 10th St, Belen, NM 87002). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens (101 N 10th St, Belen, NM 87002).
