It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Henry B. Melancon of Jal, New Mexico, who passed away on January 6, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father John; his children, Faron Melancon and Teresa Rawlings; his granddaughter Tamra Melancon; his former wife Juanita Melancon (Johnson); and his siblings, Homer Langlois, Jay Lee Melancon, Elsie Beaudoin and Virginia Harrison.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Melancon; and his children, Burton Melancon of Rio Rancho, NM, Stan Middleton (Margaret) of Midland, Pam Lee (Joel) of Tuscola, Donna Hicks (Jimmy) of West Bloomfield and Melody Stubblefield (Jeff) of Artesia. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made in Tunney's memory to New Mexico Baptist Children's Home, PO Box 629, Portales, NM 88130.
